Genetic Structure Installation

An installation built specifically for a gallery in Tel Aviv. The structure started to grow from five points located on three different planes and ran for several iterations. Aluminium sticks were used for the rods and the spherical joints were crafted form flat copper discs using a lathe machine. Each copper joint was singular, meaning that it could be placed in only one specific location in accordance with the design. No information was added or subtracted to the fabrication process, meaning that the structure was realized exactly as it had emerged in the computer simulation.
